Therapy for First Responders and Healthcare Workers
Support for Those Who Support Others
Paramedics, firefighters, police officers, dispatchers, nurses, physicians and other healthcare workers carry a lot. Shift work, critical incidents, moral distress and the weight of other people's hardest days can build up over time, often while you keep showing up for everyone else.
You might notice irritability, trouble sleeping, replaying calls or shifts, pulling away from people at home, or feeling numb or burnt out. These are understandable responses to demanding work, and support can help.
Our team includes clinicians with healthcare backgrounds, including nursing, and our founder, Tyler Harris, received Niagara Health's Interdisciplinary Practice Award for leading practice in clinical skills in 2024. We understand the culture of frontline work and offer practical, trauma-informed therapy for stress, burnout, anxiety, depression and the effects of critical incidents.
Sessions are available by video or telephone across Ontario, which can fit around shift schedules, as well as in person in St. Catharines and in your home in Niagara, subject to clinician availability. We are a registered provider for WSIB, Telus Health and Veterans Affairs Canada, and most extended health benefit plans cover our services.
Book a free 20-minute consultation or use our therapist-matching form, and we'll help you find a clinician who fits.
