Therapy for Anxiety in Ontario

Anxiety can look like constant worry, a racing mind at night, panic attacks, tension in your body, or avoiding things that used to feel manageable. It can make work, relationships and everyday decisions harder than they need to be. You don't have to wait until it feels unbearable to reach out.

Our clinicians help people understand what keeps anxiety going and build practical ways to respond to it. Depending on your needs and your clinician, therapy may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills and Solution-Focused Therapy.

In therapy, you can learn to notice the thoughts and patterns that feed worry, settle your body when anxiety or panic rises, and gradually face situations you've been avoiding, at a pace that feels manageable. Many people also find they make decisions and set boundaries with more confidence.

Sessions are available by video or telephone across Ontario, in person in St. Catharines, and in your home in Niagara, subject to clinician availability. Most extended health benefit plans cover our services, and sliding-scale options are available.
