Burnout Counselling
When You're Running on Empty
Burnout can creep in slowly. You might feel exhausted no matter how much you rest, cynical or detached from work you used to care about, irritable at home, or unable to switch off. It often shows up in people who care deeply and give a lot, at work, at home or as caregivers.
Burnout counselling helps you step back and look at what's draining you, what's within your control, and what needs to change. Our clinicians help you set boundaries, reconnect with your values, and build habits that support recovery instead of just getting through the week.
Depending on your needs, therapy may draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches and Solution-Focused Therapy. We also support healthcare workers and first responders facing the particular strain of frontline work.
Sessions are available by video or telephone across Ontario, in person in St. Catharines, and in your home in Niagara, subject to clinician availability, with evening appointments available with some clinicians. Most extended health benefit plans cover our services, and sliding-scale options are available.
Book a free 20-minute consultation or use our therapist-matching form, and we'll help you find a clinician who fits.
