Meet Brittney
Hi there, and welcome. Taking the first step toward change can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone.
If you’ve been feeling weighed down by anxiety, lingering low moods, stuck in patterns of self-doubt, navigating a difficult life transition, or experiencing relationship strains, you may be longing for a space where you can finally exhale. Therapy can be that space for you.
As a Registered Social Worker, I work with teens (14+) and adults to help them better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I draw from approaches such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems to help you build coping tools, regulate overwhelming emotions, strengthen your self-esteem, and deepen your self-awareness. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and gently challenging when needed. Together we can create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that works for you.
Our sessions are a safe, supportive space where you can show up authentically, unpack the heaviness, worries, and questions that may feel hard to carry on your own.
I understand personally how vulnerable it can feel to search for the “right” therapist. Finding a good fit matters. If something here resonates with you, I’d be happy to connect. I am currently accepting virtual clients ages 14+. Please email me at brittney@harrispsychotherapy.org
