Couples Counselling in Ontario

Every relationship goes through hard stretches. Maybe the same arguments keep coming back, you feel more like roommates than partners, trust has been shaken, or a big change, like a new baby, a move or a loss, has put you both under strain. Couples counselling gives you a space to slow down and really hear each other.

Our clinicians work with couples at any stage, married or not, who want to understand each other better and find a way forward. Sessions focus on how you communicate, what happens during conflict, and what each of you needs to feel connected and respected.

In couples counselling, you can learn to talk about difficult topics without things escalating, repair after an argument, rebuild trust, and make decisions together about your future. Your clinician doesn't take sides; the relationship is the focus.

Sessions are available by video across Ontario, which makes it easier to fit counselling around two schedules, and in person in St. Catharines, subject to clinician availability. Many extended health benefit plans cover counselling with a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker, so check your plan for details.

To get started, book a free 20-minute consultation or use our therapist-matching form, and we'll help you find a clinician who fits.
