Grief Counselling
Support Through Grief and Loss
Grief can follow the death of someone you love, and it can also follow other losses: the end of a relationship, a health change, a pregnancy loss, or a move away from a life you knew. It can bring sadness, anger, guilt, numbness or exhaustion, often in waves you don't expect.
There is no right way or timeline to grieve. Grief counselling gives you a space to talk about the person or what you've lost, make room for the feelings that come with it, and find ways to carry the loss while you keep living your life.
Our clinicians offer a compassionate, unhurried approach. Depending on your needs, therapy may include Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches and practical support for the hardest days, like anniversaries and holidays.
Sessions are available by video or telephone across Ontario, in person in St. Catharines, and in your home in Niagara, subject to clinician availability. Most extended health benefit plans cover our services, and sliding-scale options are available.
When you're ready, book a free 20-minute consultation or use our therapist-matching form, and we'll help you find a clinician who fits.
